Hi everyone, I’m Brooke! 😊🐦
I’ve been part of the Wild Birds Unlimited family since 2007, starting with the Oakdale store my parents opened in 2006, which I purchased from them in 2021. 💚 Since then, we’ve opened our East Setauket location in 2023 🎉 and most recently acquired Syosset as of April 1, 2026! 🥳
This is truly a family business—both of my adult children work with me 👨👩👧👦, and I’m so proud of the incredible team we’ve built across all three locations. 💪🐦 I absolutely love educating people about backyard bird feeding and helping bring a little more nature into everyday life. 🌿✨
Outside of the store, I value staying organized 🗂️, being involved in two local roller derby leagues 🛼🔥, and making time for family and friends 💕—which even inspired our adjusted weekend hours ( See Below) so we can all enjoy a better balance. ⚖️
I’m excited to be part of this community and look forward to getting to know you! 🥰🐦
This exciting new chapter wouldn’t be possible without the incredible foundation built by the previous owners Andy & Christine Burke. 💛 We are so grateful for their years of dedication, passion, and commitment to bringing people and nature together.
As we move through this transition, you may still see them (and Brody too 🐶) around the store—be sure to say hello! 👋 We wish them all the best as they enjoy more time traveling ✈️ and making memories with their grandchildren 🥰
🕒 Syosset Store Hours Update:
To better serve you, the Syosset location will now follow these hours:
Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
